These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SLC Rentals LLC website and related online services (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

About our services

SLC Rentals provides Equipter equipment rentals, pre-owned sales, and nationwide buying services for roofing and related contractors. Information on the Site is for general purposes and may change without notice. Equipment availability, pricing, and specifications are subject to confirmation at the time of rental or sale.

Online rentals (Point of Rental)

Online reservations and checkout are processed through our third-party rental platform (Point of Rental). When you complete a booking, you also agree to that platform’s terms, receipts, and contract language provided at checkout. Rental rates, damage waivers, fuel requirements, pickup locations, and return conditions are defined in your rental agreement and POR confirmation—not solely on marketing pages on this Site.

Inquiries and forms

Submitting a contact form, equipment inquiry, referral, or sell-side form does not guarantee availability, pricing, or acceptance of an offer. We may follow up by phone or email. You represent that information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to submit it on behalf of your business where applicable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Site unlawfully or in a way that could harm SLC Rentals, our customers, or third parties
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Site or embedded storefront except as allowed by law
Upload malware, spam, or misleading content through our forms

Intellectual property

Site content, logos, text, images, and layout are owned by SLC Rentals or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal or internal business use related to doing business with us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLC RENTALS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC TRANSACTION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify SLC Rentals against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes relating to these Terms or the Site shall be in courts located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
