An Equipter RB4000 rental in Pennsylvania costs $150 a day, $600 a week, or $1,800 a month through SLC Rentals — the lowest published Equipter rates in the state, with pickup at our Gordonville (Lancaster County) and Glen Rock (York County) yards. One phone call to 717-895-9981 confirms availability, and most PA crews can pick up the same day.
We’re an Equipter-only shop headquartered in Gordonville, PA. Our rental fleet works out of Pennsylvania yards every week of the season, so the rates, coverage, and logistics below come from actually running these machines across the state — not from a directory listing.
How much does an Equipter rental cost in Pennsylvania?
Our published 2026 Pennsylvania rates are $150/day, $600/week (about $86 a day), and $1,800/month (about $60 a day). Weekly is the sweet spot for a typical tear-off schedule.
| Rental term | SLC Rentals (PA yards) | Typical published PA market |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | $150 | $175 – $250 |
| Weekly | $600 (~$86/day) | varies; often per-day stacking |
| Monthly | $1,800 (~$60/day) | $2,400 – $2,600 |
Published Equipter rates at other Pennsylvania and mid-Atlantic outfits commonly run $175–$250 per day and $2,400–$2,600 per month. We keep ours at the low end of the market on purpose — a machine that’s out working beats a machine sitting in the yard. Delivery to your job site is quoted at booking based on distance from the nearest yard.

Where in Pennsylvania can I pick up an Equipter?
SLC Rentals runs two Pennsylvania pickup yards: Gordonville in Lancaster County (our headquarters, at 3829 Old Philadelphia Pike) and Glen Rock in York County, minutes from the Maryland line. Between them, most of central and southeastern PA is within an hour’s tow.
- Gordonville (Lancaster County). Home base. Fastest option for Lancaster, Reading, Harrisburg, Lebanon, and Chester County crews — and the usual pickup for Philadelphia-area rentals.
- Glen Rock (York County). On the I-83 corridor. Closest yard for York, Hanover, and Gettysburg — and the one Baltimore and northern Maryland crews cross the line for.
Western PA jobs are longer hauls but still workable: Pittsburgh-area crews typically take the weekly rate so one round trip covers the whole job, or have us quote delivery.
What do I need to rent one?
A ¾-ton or larger pickup with a 2 5/16″ ball hitch and a 7-pin round connector tows the RB4000, and every rental requires proof of insurance. For contractors that’s your existing commercial liability policy; homeowners should confirm rental-equipment coverage with their provider. No special license is needed — the machine is designed to be operated after a brief walk-through at pickup.
Don’t have a truck that can tow it? We deliver. Tell us the job-site address when you call and we’ll quote the round trip.
Why do PA roofers rent the Equipter instead of a dumpster?
A dumpster sits where the driver dropped it; the RB4000 drives itself around the house and lifts its container to the roofline, so debris goes straight from the tear-off into the box — not onto the lawn, the landscaping, or the customer’s driveway. Crews consistently report faster cleanup and fewer property-damage claims, which is exactly what wins referrals in tight Pennsylvania boroughs and older neighborhoods with landscaping close to the house.
It also tows home at night. In row-home and small-lot markets like Philadelphia and Lancaster city, not leaving equipment on site is its own selling point.
Equipter rental in Pennsylvania: FAQ
Can I get same-day pickup in Pennsylvania?
Often, yes. Call 717-895-9981 with your dates — if a unit is available at Gordonville or Glen Rock, you can usually hook up the same day. Reserving a few days ahead guarantees the dates during peak season.
Do you deliver Equipter rentals within Pennsylvania?
Yes. Delivery is quoted by distance from the nearest yard and is the usual choice for Pittsburgh, Scranton, and other longer hauls. Many crews within an hour of a yard just tow it themselves and skip the fee.
Do you serve Philadelphia and Pittsburgh?
Yes — Philadelphia crews pick up at Gordonville (about an hour west), and Pittsburgh jobs are handled by weekly rental or quoted delivery. Both metros have dedicated pages: Philadelphia Equipter rentals and Pittsburgh Equipter rentals.
What if my job is in Maryland or New Jersey?
Same yards, same rates. Maryland crews pick up at Glen Rock on the I-83 corridor, and South Jersey jobs run from Gordonville or our Bear, Delaware yard. See the Maryland and New Jersey rental pages.
Is the rental RB4000 the same machine Equipter sells new?
Yes — our fleet is the standard Equipter RB4000 (also called the Equipter 4000): 4,000 lb capacity, 12-foot lift, self-propelled drive. Units are inspected and maintained between every rental, and if you fall for it mid-rental, we also sell pre-owned RB4000s.
